Most commonly unlike, big IT companies ,UK software houses are small in structure.

Case 1: Procedure for Junior software Role(0 -1 year experience)

Step 1.Application form
Step 2.Telephonic interview
Step 3.Test
Step 4.Face to face technical interview(technical questions)
Step 5 Face to face HR interview( Some companies do step 4 and 5 together)
Step 6: Offer
Step 7: Contract signing
Easy to get junior roles are
Salary range-18K-27K per annum (In pounds)


Case 2: Procedure for Software developer(1-3 years of experience)

Step1 : Most cased No application form ( sent CV) optional some employers do not accepts CV
Step2: Telephonic interview
Step2A:Test(Optional Some employers do filtering based on it)
Step3: Face to face interview(technical questions)
Step4:Offer
Step5:Contract signing
Roles: .NET devloper, SQL Developer, Java Developer, Php developer, Web developer
Salary range:- 28-40K per annum (In pounds)


Case 3: Procedure for Senior Developer(3-5 years of experience) or Team Lead

Step1: CV
Step1A: Telephonic interview (optional some companies prefers)
Step2:Face to face interview
Step2A:Test Test(Optional Some employers do filtering based on it)
Step3:Face to face interview( Covering CV, Not big technical questions , questions mainly what you did , how you did, prepare cv well)
Step4:Offer(Might be take 1-2 months to get offer: 1 position 15 candidate, 3 interviews per week)
Step5:Contract signing
Roles: Senior .NET Developer, Solution architect, DBA, Senior web developer, Senior .NET Developer, Team Lead, Senior SQL developer
Salary range -40K-70K per annum (In pounds)

.NET junior developer, Java junior developer, Sql server Junior developer. From my experience, i feel like .NET jobs are easy to get.


All this salaries depend on your negotiation skills. Dont expect too much hikes after joining an organisation. It usally comes in the range of(1-5 %) commonly 2 %.

So all you want should negotiate before the offer, because due to the small size of orgainisation the from CEO to bottom people know each other. So if you try for negotiation the work environment will not be good. 

When you feel want more money try to jump and find a new job with better salary.

Named pipes enables clients applications to request a reliable and two way connection between the client application and Sql Server, across a network. How to add a stored procedure in Entity Framework

Step1- Open the . edmx file Step2- Right click in . edmx file and select Update Model from Database Step3- Select Add tab, select Stored Procedures and select the procedure you want to add and click finish as shown in below figure a Step4- Build the Entity Project to make sure nothing is broke Step5- Right click on . edmx file and  select Model Browser Step6- Model Browser Popup will appear as  below figure.
